"JUST LADUE IT" Lawrence James LaDue, 72, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2009. Larry was born September 12, 1936 to Lawrence John and Hattie Belle LaDue in Forest Grove, Oregon. Larry enlisted in the US Air Force in which he served in Vietnam and from which he retired after 20 years of service He worked as a mechanic and was known for being able to fix almost anything. He loved to help and serve others. He was a quiet, gentle giant who gave the very best bear hugs. He married Shirley Ann Thomas on December 26, 1958 and they were sealed in the Los Angeles Temple in 1963. They had five children and 10 grandchildren of which Larry was very proud and couldn’t help but shed tears of joy upon the smallest of their achievements. Preceded in death by his son, Robert, his parents, and sister, Jeannette Brannon. Survived by his loving wife, Shirley; daughters, Monique Shurtliff, Teresa Peterson (Devon), Terri Smith (Troy), and Jill Fulton (Paul) as well as his beloved grandchildren; Travis, Aaron, Adam, and Robbie Shurtliff; Britney and Lauren Smith; Emily and Jake Peterson; and Tommy and Sam Fulton. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2009, 11 a.m. at the Jacobs Ranch1st Ward Chapel, 276 West Weatherby Drive, Saratoga Springs, Utah. A viewing will precede the service at 9:30 am. Interment will be at Veterans Memorial Park, Bluffdale, Utah. We are grateful to our husband, father, and grandfather for his example and all that he did for us. We will miss him terribly.

| It breaks my heart to be away from you all during this time. I loved Uncle Larry and am so glad to have been able to be a part of his family. He will be missed by us all. I am remembering him fondly and sending my love to all the rest of you all at this time (as always). |
