Dorothy was a wonderful woman and a loss to everyone who knows her. I am grateful I was able to spend a little time with her a few years ago. My heart felt condolences to the entire Starkey family. You will be in my prayers. Best, Stefanie Sorensen Hendon |
| My thoughts are with you, Lyn, and your family. Your Mom will always hold a special place in my heart. Your house was in many ways my second home when we were growing up. The miles she and your Dad put on their car picking me up and taking me home! The trips to the beach camping out at Pismo and going clam digging...the memories are never far away. I always will remember your Mom as a beautiful woman. Blue eyes that could look right thru us when she asked us where exactly we were going...as we were running out the door. I just know we tried to never look back and get eye contact!! I still remember her infectious laugh. She had a great laugh. I hope I told her thank you and how much I appreciated all that she did for me. She allowed you and I to go back and forth from one house to the other for years and I remember her driving us to the school dances on Friday nights just like it was yesterday. And Lee, I still remember you teasing us without mercy!! My prayers to you all and Lyn, you are my soul sister and truly still...my Best Friend. I love you all! Becky |
