| My condolences to Monte's family at this time. It has been a lot of years since Monte and I would hang out together in high school. While Monte was serving in Thialand I was in San Diego and we would send cassette tapes back and forth during our missions. It was interesting to see the differences between the two parts of the world. Monte's passion of the mission and the people was always evident. I'm sorry that we lost touch so easily afterward. I do wish his family the best, he will be missed. |

I was shocked to see Monte had passed. I did find a small prayer a while ago There is a light at the end of the tunnel There's love awaiting me there All cares and troubles I will leave behind As I climb the golden stair. There's a light at the end of the tunnel There to meet my Lord face to face And I'll be in the home that I longed for Saved by His heavenly grace ere's a light at the end of the tunnel |

The past two years I have been honored to call Monte my friend, we have laughed together, complained to each other, counciled with each other. He has taught me so many things, about music, history, the earth and her gifts, television shows I would never watch. I am so saddened by his death. I have intended to come to your home and comfort you but realized I would asking you to comfort me. What a wonderful, loving, giving, man. I am truly going to miss my friend. My condolences to you and your incredible loss. May you find peace in your beliefs and convictions. |
| I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I had dated Monte in high school and have fond memories of him. You will be in my prayers and I know the Lord will help comfort you at this time. |
| Cynthia, please accept our heart felt sympathies for your loss. Monte was a good man and we're glad to have known him. We didn't know he was ill, but we kind of lost touch after we moved. Please know our prayers are with you and all the family at this time. |
