Leah and family, I was so sorry to hear of Ralph's passing but I know he treasured his wife and children so very much. I'm sure his grandchildren will be great people for having him in their lives also. It is hard to say good-bye to someone who is so loved but memories are made for this reason--to help everyone thru times like these. Thinking of you all. Janie

Robert S. Smoot (and for my wife Gaylia as well) (Bob & Gay) said:

Dear Leah, as I told you at the funeral, it was the most unique and wonderful funeral and celebration that I can remember. The whole meeting was well planned and wonderful. It had a beautiful spirit from beginning to end. All of the music was inspiring and insightful, and, I loved your song at the end, and the special numbers were well done and had great messages too. And what a joy it was to get to know you and your husband better. Your children are outstanding. I loved their insights as well. I am certainly convinced that Ralph was a man of great integrity with a great work ethic. He definitely was (and still is) not only a great priesthood man, but a wonderful father and husband leading out by example. Thank you for letting us get to know him and even you better. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you. We love you more than ever. If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know. And may God ever continue to bless you and yours as I know He will.

With love, respect and appreciation, Bob Smoot (and for my wife as well, who was too sick to come even though she wanted very much to be there)

P.S. Is there any way my wife and I could see the video? My wife and I both missed it and would love to see it. There was some talk of having you show it for empty nesters in the fall, but we would personally love to see it much sooner than that. Please let me know if this could be arranged when you are up to it. (801-701-0546)
