|
June 20, 1923 ~ May 31, 2010 Bonnie Marie LeFevre Lamoreaux was reunited with her eternal companion Robert “Bob” Lamoreaux on May 31. 2010. At the time of her passing she was living in American Fork, UT. She was born in Panguitch, Utah, on June 20, 1923. Bonnie grew up in Panguitch and was sealed to Bob Lamoreaux on June 25, 1949, in the St. George, UT. LDS Temple. They raised their family primarily in El Centro, CA. Bonnie was always active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many callings throughout her life. She was an avid quilter, genealogist, and temple attendee. Prior to Bob’s passing in 1990, they served together in the Los Angeles, CA temple. This was a particularly happy time for them. Following Bob’s passing, Bonnie went on to serve full time temple missions in Chicago, Washington D. C., and Orlando. She returned and lived with her daughter in St. George, UT, where she continued to serve at the temple as well as volunteering at Beehive Clothing two days per week. For the past 1 ½ years Bonnie has lived in the Heritage Care Center in American Fork, UT. We would like to express our love and appreciation for the kind and caring people who helped our mom during this time. She developed friendships with others she lived with as well as those who cared for her. Thank you. Bonnie was preceded in death by a son, Gordon, and her husband, Bob. She is survived by her other children: Lyle (Connie), Craig (Connie), Karen (Ken Robinson), Mel (Margo), and Dave (Gail). She is also survived by one sister, Margaret Woolsey, and one brother, Ike LeFevre, 21 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. Mom, you will be missed, but your example and legacy will live forever in us. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Paragonah LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to services on Saturday. Interment will be in the Paragonah City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com
