| Kathy Ann Hutchinson Pulley |
|
Kathy Ann Hutchinson Pulley went peacefully to her Heavenly Home July 3 2010. Kathy was born in Provo Utah on April 16 1970 to Gary and Carol Hutchinson. She grew up in the Springville and Provo area which is where she attended school. She attended Provo College where she studied to be a nursing assistant. Kathy married her forever sweetheart, Andy Pulley, at the base of Bridal Veil Falls on September 24 1994. It was the happiest day of their lives. Kathy loved to travel and together they traveled throughout Utah and neighboring States, frequently taking their children with them. She loved the outdoors and they had many family camping trips together. Kathy was a very true and loyal friend. If anyone needed any help, love, or encouragement, Kathy was always there to help. She would think nothing of driving over 100 miles to give aid to someone who needed it. She had a very large, loving heart, and loved her family and friends unconditionally and without judgment. Complete strangers fell under her charm and became beloved friends. She reached out to everyone, and made so many friends. She found joy and beauty in the simple things of life. She loved life to the fullest, and it loved her back. Just hours before her death, she was out taking pictures of the moon because it was so beautiful. She took thousands of pictures of family, friends, sunsets, clouds and nature. Kathy overcame many obstacles in her life; she was in constant pain due to health problems. She always tried valiantly to overcome the pain, and gave joy and love to everyone she came into contact with. She leaves a huge void in the life of her family and friends. She was a beautiful woman with a beautiful spirit. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Kathy is survived by her husband Andy, her son Michael Hutchinson, daughter Alexis Hutchinson, sons Ryan and Andrew Pulley, and grandson Madix Hutchinson and his mother Brittany Welch. Her parents, Gary and Carol Hutchinson, brothers Allen and Bobby Hutchinson, sister Casandra Hutchinson, grandmother JoAnn Clark, grandparents Jerry and Kay Grover; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as all of Andy’s family whom she loved as her own. She was preceded in death by her cousin Amberly Bateman, her aunt Nancy Bateman, grandparents Beth and Broze Hutchinson. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the mortuary and one hour prior to services on Friday. Interment will be in the Lindon City Cemetery.
A Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, and Best Friend No matter in which form she came to us She touched all of our hearts and left a mark that will never be forgotten. An infectious laugh that brightened our days A radiant smile that enlightened our ways. Not a kinder soul in this life Have we had the honor of knowing. The love of a heart so pure that she was simply glowing. She danced through our lives all the while showing That she was always there and that she will always care. Leaving her imprint everywhere; The funny things she said, the kind things she would do; The secret dreams she had that we never knew. She left us so suddenly it took our breath away. When you love someone so much, you wish they could always stay. She is watching over us now, from the heavens above. Our guardian Angel Knowing she is deeply loved.

My Dear Cousin Gary and family ~ I am so sad to hear about your daughter Kathy's passing away. Although I never had to opportunity to know her personally, I am sure that the sentiments in this Obit must be true - just because she is your daughter. I can't even imagine what it would be like to lose one of my children and my heart goes out to you. Your Aunt Shirlene would be so saddened to hear this as well. She loves you very much and would want to be there for you if she could. With love from your cousin, Kaylynn. |
