Jacquelyn Anita Wilkins Miller

February 20, 1922 ~ July 5, 2010

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother walked to the light of the Savior the evening of July 5, 2010.

Jacquelyn Anita Wilkins Miller passed away at Alpine Valley Care Center after a long and very courageous battle.  She was born February 20, 1922 in Pueblo, Colorado to Lee and Belva Wilkins.  She married Clyde C. Miller, May 16, 1941.  She has two children; Clyde E. (Judy) Miller of Torrington, Wyoming and Belva L. (Darold) Henry of Pleasant Grove, Utah.  She has a sister, Marjorie Songer of Bakersfield, California and a brother, Cecil Wilkins who preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Sunrise High School, Sunrise, Wyoming, and lived most of her married life in Gering, Nebraska until she moved to Pleasant Grove, Utah in 1996.

She was known to her family and friends as Jackie.  She was blessed with the ability to have compassion and love for everyone.  She was always a loving, caring mother and grandmother.  She loved animals and we know there has been a great reunion in Heaven with many little cats and dogs that have been waiting for her along with her parents and other family members.  We also know she was welcomed home by a loving Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.  To a child, love is spelled TIME and we as her children wish to thank her for all her love and time. We will miss you Mom, but look forward to our reunion when we are called home also.

Jackie’s final resting place will be beside her husband Beany (Clyde) Miller at Gering West Lawn Cemetery in Gering, Nebraska.

Dear Belva Tiger, and Clyde,
I have such fond memories of your mom and the kindness she always showed to me. Our trips to Sunrise and the baked potato chips. It is so hard to lose one's mom and I know how very close you were. She couldn't have had nicer children nor a nicer son-in law. She was a treasure. Just want you to know haw lucky I feel that she touched my life when I was younger. Love to you all. Love, Pat

Belva, Clyde and Family,
You may not remember your old 12th street neighbor and drumming band mate at GHS, but I remember you, your mom and your brother Clyde. I was sorry to see your mom's passing and especially wanted to send my sympathy to you and Darold.

My brother Terry was in Gering a couple weeks back for his 50th High School reunion and we were in a nostalgic mood discussing our former classmates and neighbors when he returned.

Seems odd to have to reconnect through the unfortunate passing of a relative but I have fond memories of your mom coming out on your little porch next to the Waite (sp) house and giving me a correction for some misdeed I executed. I was probably up their bothering you and Karen because you were my band mates and were neighbors.

I have said a prayer for your parents.
