February 11, 1919 ~ August 5, 2010

William (Bill) Henry Hunter, age 91, passed away peacefully at the Timpanogos Regional Hospital from causes incident to age, Thursday, August 5, 2010.  Bill was born February 11, 1919 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Asa Elmo and Ferl Lucretia Pulley Hunter.  He graduated from American Fork High School.  He married Nina White of Pleasant Grove, Utah in the Manti Temple, June 15, 1938.  They are the parents of seven children.  Nina passed away April 5, 1985.

Bill’s occupation was a contractor in Utah and Arizona where he owned Hunter Plumbing and Air-Conditioning Company.

Bill married Addie Moulton Murdock, September 20, 1985 in the Jordan River Temple.  Bill is survived by five sons; Gary Stewart (Pat), Phoenix, AZ; William Elmo (Victoria), Phoenix, AZ; Sherrie Hunter, Pleasant Grove, UT; Leon H. (Alison) Phoenix, AZ; Glen M. (Becky) Phoenix, AZ; David R. (Susan), Phoenix, AZ; two daughters, Joyce (Grant) Nielsen, Phoenix, AZ; Deanne (Roger) Reeve, Murray, UT.

Addie’s children; one son, Dean N. (Kris) Murdock, West Jordan, UT; four daughters, Trudy, (Jay) Whitehead, SLC, UT; Pat (Howard) Gerstner, Provo, UT; Diane (Jeff) Evershed, Lake Oswego, OR; Cathy (Bob) Cushman, Portland, OR; sisters, Vivian (Ron)Turner, American Fork, UT and Marilyn (Mark) Littleford, Francis, UT and numerous posterity numbering over 190.  Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Richard E. and Donald M. Hunter; sister, Elma Ross.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah.  A viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. prior to the service.  Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
