Dear, sweet Pauline. How fortunate I am to be your daughter-in-law. I feel blessed to have known you, and for the times we spent together. You and I had wonderful conversations and outings together--just the two of us--while Jeff and I were dating. It was special getting to know you one-on-one in that way. Then, after marrying Jeff, we treasured having you and Kris to dinner on Sundays. I will cherish those Sunday dinners because my children were able to spend meaningful time with you, Kris, my mom and my sister Ann. What wonderful times we had! I am amazed by all you could accomplish during your life. You added color and beauty to all of our lives in many, many ways. I am grateful for your skills as a mother, and know it was your influence that shaped Jeff into the exceptional man he is today. When I feel grateful for him, I feel grateful for you, as well. I miss you so very much. Your departure has left a void that cannot be filled. For me, losing you was losing a mother all over again. You are a special person, and my consolation at your passing is knowing that you are now filled with joy. We will always remember you!

To my childhood best friend, Jeff and all the Olpin family, I send my deepest sympathy at your mom's passing. She was a great lady and I spent a lot of time at your house and saw her in action. She had so many talents and had such a flare for decorating and entertaining. She threw the best Halloween parties ever and she was very supportive in our music endeavors. I know the sting of losing a parent and send you my love and heart felt sympathy in the loss of your mom. One thought I had was that she and your dad are together again after all those years. Your parents left a mark on my life and I cherish the memories I had and the time I spent at your home. I wish I could be there for the services, but please know I'm thinking about you all and send you my love and that of my family.
highest regards,
Shar

To the Olpin family we were saddned to hear of your moms passing. She was always the true lady in every way. She was always a great example of the type of person that a mom should be. We will always remember the way she supported Dee in every thing he did and was never one to seek the lime light. Her loss will be felt by her family and friends but what a sweet reunion she is having with Dee. We are many miles away but send our love.

We just learned of your dear mother's passing. To the whole Olpin family, we send our love and sympathies for your loss. When we first moved to Pleasant Grove, Dee and Pauline were among the first to befriend us and make us feel so welcome. As others have said, Pauline was such a "lady" in every setting. May the knowledge of the Gospel Plan for forever families comfort you at this time.

Paul,
I am so sorry to hear of your moms passing. She was always such a corner stone of Pl. Grove. I often think of those good old days at Wasatch Bank with fond memories. You were so much fun to have around. May you and your family be comforted with the knowledge we have of eternal families.
