May 15, 1986 ~ August 27, 2010

On August 27^th 2010 our beloved Christian Timothy Simons lost a long and hard battle with his addiction to heroin.

Christian was born May 15^th 1986 to Veronica (Ronni) Mathews and Paul Simons (now deceased) and brothers David Niacaris, Greg Simons, Daniel Simons and Wayne White. He was a happy child with the best smile! Christian loved spending time with his friends playing night games and swimming at the PG pool.

As Christian grew up he developed a deep love for every kind of music and found peace there. He was self taught on the piano & guitar and loved to draw on anything that sat still long enough.

He also loved to laugh, tell stories, hike, or do anything outdoors and animals of all kinds.  Most of all he loved spending time discovering the world with his son Gabriel, the most amazing person in his life.

It is our deepest hope that his life, joy, pain and death will serve those who did and did not know him to stay clear of this terrible burden that changed his and our lives forever.

Please join us for a Celebration of his life Saturday September 4^th, 2010 @ 11a.m. at the Olpin Family Mortuary 494 South 300 East Pleasant Grove, UT.  We well be compiling a book of memories for his son Gabriel and would ask that you bring a written thought, story or memory that would help him know his dad in the years to come.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the Christian Simons memorial for funeral arrangements and future needs of his son at any Zions Bank location.

We would like to thank all of the friends, family and councilors who have worked with Christian through the years but most of all Ronni his mom for fighting for every single day and never giving up. You are a true example of unconditional love……

Ronni, we were not aware of Christians struggles and are so sad to know that it took his life! He was always such a bright and smiling little boy, and brought smiles to all that saw him. Our prayers are with you and the family and we send our love and condolences to you.

Ronni,we have been next door neighbors for a few years now,i'm sorry we haven't got to know each other so well,we would have had alot to talk about, as I have two Daughters that have struggled with the same addiction as Chris.I do know what you have gone through in the past, and I've seen how you kept bringing him back into your home, trying as only a Mother can, to help him.Chris is in a better place now,God bless you and your family.You have our deepest sympathy,The Chipman Family.
