Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend passed peacefully in her sleep on January 20, 2012 at the age of 68.

Ilene was born on April 19, 1943 to Lewis and Evelyn Davis.  She grew up in Orem, Utah and attended schools there.

She married Theron H. Nay on June 8, 1959.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple on November 10, 2001.  Theron was her life-long companion and care taker.  Their love for each other was unconditional.

Ilene was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She was always busy doing something for others. She enjoyed crafts, quilting, sewing, and having her family around her.  She owned and ran Cakes Unusual Bakery in Orem with her mother for several years.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Theron H. Nay, their children: Richard (Arien) Nay, Sandra Shepherd, Kelly (Carolyn) Nay, Karen Millar and Micheal (Gayle) Nay, her siblings Ida (Don) Berger, Helen (Roger) Dunsdon, Don (Linda) Davis, as well as 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Rae Kelander and Lois Carlson.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 28 at 12:00 noon in the Centerfield LDS Ward Chapel, 230 South Main Street, Centerfield.  Family and friends may attend a viewing Friday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and on Saturday at the church one hour prior to services.  Interment will be in the Centerfield City Cemetery.

Ilene has always been one of our favorite people, you never saw her without a big smile and hug. She always made you feel important and loved. We are so glad we stopped to see her on Sat. on our way to AZ. and was able to give her a big hug and tell her we loved her. What a trooper she is, and so lucky to have Theron to take care of her, he did an awesome job, she was always in good hands. It is a comfort to us to know that her and Rae and Lois are all together and enjoying each others company again. We love Ilene and will miss her always!

Theron My prayers are with you. I can relate to the way you are feeling. The night the girls heard of Ilene's passing Kimbree had to sleep with me because she was so sad. She told me she is going to miss Grandma Nay because they always did crafts together and Grandma would always color with her and she had her own crayons.
