Melanie and kids, we want you to know how much love and respect we have for Bob! He has been the "model employee" ever since he came to work for us. His example of selfless service and doing all it took to accomplish the task, have been gratifying to watch. He never wavered in trying to do what was best for the company; even to the point of driving long hours and avoiding "unnecessary" expense like meals and motel rooms! We can't say enough how much we have appreciated Bob! And besides that, his sense of humor has become engrained in our company culture! The one-liners and quick responses are still a part of what we all say and think! Thank you for sharing him with us and for the way he has benefited all our lives! One thing for sure, Bob had a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and of the assurance of our temporary stay in this life and the hope for an eternal future with his family! God Bless you as you look to that day! |

Melanie and family, I was never so shocked as I was with the news that Morgan gave to me on Monday morning when I called to talke to Bob. I had no ideas he was that bad so quickly. I regret not talking to him face to face a couple of weeks ago. Bob was an inspiration to me for his honesty, work ethic, family values and his committment to God. He taught all of us the meaning of enduring to the end. He was one tough cookie. No one should ever complain after the way he handled his illness. I considered him to be a great friend and he had a great influence upon me in our business and in my own personal life. While we all will miss his wit, humor and personality, we should have expected that God would call him home. He had passed all the tests here upon the earth and was ready for his next "mission". I wonder if God can get him to slow down on the freeways of Heaven? Please call me if I can help in anyway. We are thinking of you and the family at this time. Rex, RaeMi and Kris Stanworth |

Melanie and Family, You probably have no idea who I am, since I am about a year younger than Craig, Robert's younger brother, but I remember both of you. I didn't know any of your children, but still live near Kirk and Sharon and visit with them occasionally. When I was a kid I spent time riding motorcycles with Craig, so I ws around Robert during those younger years. I remember Robert being serious when things needed to get done, fun-loving when it was time to play, and a man of integrity. Like his dad, he did not put up with much nonsense. Those are good memories, so you should know that this one life (like the theme of "It's A Wonderful Life") touched many, many more than you realize and you should find comfort in knowing that there is no reason to think that his life's work here was not complete. I am sure there are countless other lives Robert touched that you may never know about, but that will contribute to the treasures he has stored up in Heaven. May God bless you and your family who will surely miss him, but who have no need to grieve for him. Take good care of yourselves and band together with the strength that can only be found as families busy themselves with healing, loving and living. Our sympathy, Duane & Sue Taylor |

Melanie and Family, We were so sorry to hear about Bob. We never had to opportunity to get to know any of you very well except Rachelle. She has been a wonderful addition to our family. We couldn't ask for a more loving and generous daughter-in-law, qualities we're sure she learned from you and Bob. We know he will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Scott & Linda Miller |
