Marion’s family moved to Utah when he was four years old, settling in American Fork where he attended schools. He worked at Deseret Chemical for several years in Dugway. He also did landscape and orchard work for many years in American Fork. Marion could always be seen riding his bike in American Fork and all around Utah County. He always greeted everyone with a kind “hello” and spent many hours with his friends at Hart’s and Smith’s Food in American Fork. He is survived by siblings: Lewis (Beth) Dade, Artesia, NM; Georgia Christensen; American Fork; Joe (Pam) Nerdin, Orem; Claudia (Gordon) Case, Lindon; sister-in-law, Charlotte Dade, Orem and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mark. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary and on Thursday one-hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
