Each of her sons received the rank of Eagle Scout, as have all her grandsons. Her daughter received her Young Womanhood award. All have received various awards, scholarships, etc. Each of her children has excelled in their professions.
Bonnie was always active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served faithfully in many callings. In 2001, Bonnie and Robert served an 18 month mission in the Florida, Tallahassee Mission. They loved their mission and still have close contact with many dear friends in Florida. They also served a part-time mission in the Church Employment Center in American Fork, Utah.
