Bonnie Jean Jordan Farr, who was a long-time resident of St. Johns, Arizona, passed away March 15, 2019 in Lindon, Utah.  Bonnie was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James Owen Jordan and Audrey Mary Pope Jordan on May 13, 1931.  When Bonnie was 11 years old, the family moved to Draper, Utah where she attended Draper Junior High and then later graduated with honors from Jordan High School in Sandy, Utah.  During these years, Bonnie frequently played her accordion at parties, farewells, and programs.  One of the programs was attended by President David O. McKay.  President McKay graciously complimented her performance.  Bonnie attended Brigham Young University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Therapy.  It was at BYU where she met her eternal companion, Robert Leland Farr.  Robert and Bonnie were married in the Manti, Utah Temple on July 22, 1955 and have been married for 63 wonderful years.  In 1970, Robert and Bonnie moved their growing family to St. Johns, Arizona (Robert's home town) where Robert took the position of High School Principal.  Bonnie was employed by the Apache County Library for 10 years.  She also started the St. Johns Cemetery Beautification Committee, which was responsible for significant improvements to the Cemetery.  In 1998, Bonnie and Robert moved to Lindon, Utah where they have enjoyed making their home for the last 20 years.

Bonnie enjoyed many things in life, including scouting, growing roses and other flowers, sewing, quilting, knitting, crafts, reading and making home a pleasant and comfortable place for her family.  Bonnie always had a house dog and she loved her pets like part of the family.  Foremost however, was her love for her husband and children.  She was their loyal supporter in all they did, and received much joy and happiness in their accomplishments.  Bonnie set high standards for herself and for her family.  Each of her sons received the rank of Eagle Scout, as have all her grandsons.  Her daughter received her Young Womanhood award.  All have received various awards, scholarships, etc.   Each of her children has excelled in their professions.

Bonnie was always active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served faithfully in many callings.  She was always willing to serve and loved to serve the youth of the Church, whether in scouting or in the young women's program.  She impacted many lives through her faithful service.

In 2001, Bonnie and Robert served an 18 month mission in the Florida, Tallahassee Mission.  They loved their mission and still have close contact with many dear friends in Florida.  They also served a part-time mission in the Church Employment Center in American Fork, Utah.

Bonnie is survived by her husband Robert, her 4 children: Robert Jay (Phyllis) Farr, Orem Utah;  Russell Owen (Shauna) Farr, Gilbert, Arizona;  Richard Lorin (Diana) Farr, Highland, Utah; and Jean Marie (Mark) Payne, Hyde Park, Utah;  16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren as well as 3 brothers: Richard Owen (June) Jordan, Gerald Stoddard (Margaret) Jordan, and Louis Perry (Carolyn) Jordan and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.  She loved each and every one.
