Clair Ford Vincent, 73, of Pleasant Grove, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019. He was born on May 3, 1946, to George Albert and Dorothy Ford Vincent.
Clair graduated from Davis High School. He met and married Linda Ince, on June 25, 1965, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Clair and Linda were married for 46 years before Linda passed away in 2012. That was the hardest day of Clair's life. Together they had five children, who loved and adored them both deeply.
Clair and Linda raised their family in Pleasant Grove where they also owned and managed a successful Dental Laboratory for over 36 years. Clair was an extremely hard worker and taught his children the value of hard work, integrity, and honesty. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Kensington University.
Clair and Linda enjoyed traveling with their family. The children all have vivid and cherished memories of Lake Powell and Jackson Hole. He particularly enjoyed his trips to Alaska with Linda and his sons, as well as many successful hunting trips to the Henry Mountains.
In 2014, Clair smiled again when he met Corinne Bingham. They were married in September of 2015. Together, they traveled twice to the Dominican Republic to do service dental work. They loved serving together.
Clair was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved the Savior and the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Clair is survived by his wife, Corinne, and his 5 children, Tonya (Tim) Grames, Tyler (Stacie) Vincent, Tamra (Brent) Clayton, Travis Vincent, and Thayn (Amiti) Vincent. He was a devoted grandfather to 14 grandchildren that he loved and cherished. Chad, Cody, Zach, Bridger, Haylee, Caitlin, Jacob, MaKenna, Kinslee, Connor, Cole, Teigan, Tyne, and Tatum, as well as two great-granddaughters, Brynki and River. He was a step-father to Corinne's four children, Melanie (Preston) Palmquist, Chad (Amy), Russ, and Brittany (Matt) Sautter and her five grandchildren, Anneliss, Anisley, Marian, Karis, and Wesley. Clair is also survived by his brothers, Gordon, Don, Larry, and Byron. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda, his parents, his sister, Karen, as well as many other cherished loved ones.
He was so deeply loved by all and will be truly missed. We rejoice in his beautiful reunion with our sweet mother and know that many were there to welcome him home. We will be forever grateful for the memories and love we share as a family and know that families are forever.
