Theodore “Cody” Lucas, Our Beloved Son and Father to two of the most Precious Girls, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018.  Cody was born June 11, 1988 in Visalia, California to Tina Arnett and was given lovingly to his adoptive parents, Ted and Carolyn Lucas.

He is survived by his young daughters Harmony and Maylie Lucas and their mom Taisha Smith of West Jordan, UT; his mother, Carolyn (Jon) Woodward of South Jordan, UT; father, Ted (Pam Happy) Lucas, Pleasant Grove, UT; siblings: Hugh Watt, Eagle Mountain, UT; Tim Watt, Jurupa Valley, CA; Dino Watt, South Jordan, UT; Buffy Houle, Apple Valley, CA; Dylan Lucas, South Jordan, UT; Brianna Carroll, Salt Lake City, UT; Keegan Maurer, St. George, Utah; Randi Overstreet and Chris Thatcher, Visalia, CA and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Cody’s first home was in Apple Valley, California where he lived until the family moved to Utah when he was 7.  Cody grew up playing baseball, chess, and wrestling.  In high school his team took second place in state competition.  He loved music and watching funny moves where he would laugh louder than anyone in the theater.  Cody’s laugh was infectious.

He was a Cement Mason Apprentice for his Dad, then moved on doing other construction jobs, all while honing his skills as a music DJ where his stage name was “Mister Pinki”. His two favorite things to do in life was spending precious time with his two adorable daughters and assisting-performing as a DJ.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am in the Founder's Park Fourth Ward LDS Chapel, 11685 South Kestrel Rise Road, South Jordan, Utah.  Family and friends may attend a viewing Friday evening from 6-8 pm at the Pleasant Grove Timpanogos Seventh Ward Chapel 315 East 500 North, Pleasant Grove and at the church in South Jordan from 9:30-10:40 am prior to services.   Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to the family and full obituary information can be read at

May God rest your soul, Cody.  Until we meet again “your family and friends will miss you forever.”
