Dorinda Mae Johnson was born on July 11th, 1959 and passed away, of health complications, on August 21st, 2019. She is the daughter of MacDonald B. Johnson and L. Julene Johnson (née Green).
Dorinda enjoyed many kinds of hobbies and activities, including Legos, word puzzles, watching scary movies, and taking care of animals. I don’t think any of us will ever forget how much she enjoyed a good piece of cheese now and then as well. She was a constant companion of her mother and father until their deaths and remained a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life. We love and miss her but look forward to seeing her again, with a brightness of hope and faith in Jesus Christ and His promises to the faithful.
She is survived by her two sisters and their husbands, L. Denise & Wade Farnsworth and Danielle C. & Chad Hopkins, and her two brothers and their wives, Dirk B. & Laura Johnson and Kimball E. & Ave Johnson. She is the aunt of 17 nieces and nephews and grand-aunt of 20 more grand-nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. in the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
