Greg Don Warburton passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the age of 43.
Greg was born June 5, 1974 in Provo, Utah, the fourth child born to Dale and Marilyn Warburton. Greg lived his entire life in Pleasant Grove, Utah and had a deep love for his hometown. Greg married Heather Jorgensen on December 11, 1992. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. They have five beautiful children together whom Greg loved dearly.
Greg had a kind, infectious personality, a big smile, and was loved by many. He loved the outdoors, especially Utah's beautiful mountains and deserts. Greg had a great thirst for adventure and made many wonderful memories with his family and friends while enjoying the activities he loved.
Since high school, Greg worked for his father's construction business and eventually acquired the business after his father's retirement in 2007.
Greg was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in several callings throughout his life, including Elders Quorum President and Scoutmaster. Greg was an Eagle Scout and he especially loved serving as a Scout leader. He attended the National Scout Jamboree and World Scout Jamboree in England.
Greg is survived by his wife Heather; his children Jade (Rachel), Alex (Eman), Ciara, Sam and Roxy; his parents Dale and Marilyn; and his siblings Wendy (Don) Busenbark, Richard (Andrea) Warburton, Mark Warburton, Joel Warburton, Jared (Kristin) Warburton, Stacy (Ian) Schwerdt, and foster brother Dan (Angie) Postelnicu. Greg was preceded in death by his niece, Ruby June Warburton.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 19, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Timpanogos 4th Ward Chapel, 425 East 500 North, Pleasant Grove. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to the services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
