When she was a child her family moved to the LA North Hollywood area. She loved all animals and horses from a very early age and competed in horse shows as a young woman. Bill and Helen raised their young family in Paradise Valley, Las Vegas on a small family ranch until 1974 when they moved to Utah and started a successful family excavation business. Helen faithfully supported Bill and her sons in the business as a bookkeeper and their most notable cheerleader!
