Marilyn Cooper Carroll, 78, of American Fork passed away peacefully at home on January 1, 2019. She was born September 13, 1941 in Provo, Utah to Earl and Grace Cooper.
Marilyn married Leon Laws in 1959. They adopted two children, Roger Leon Laws and HoneyDawn Laws. They later divorced in 1975.
She then married Jerry Carroll in June of 1977 and was blessed to become a stepmother to his children as well.
Marilyn had a strong and amazing work ethic and her sense of humor kept us all laughing. Her happiest moments were spent with her grandkids and going camping and four wheeling with Jerry and her dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Carroll, her kids: Roger (Andee) Laws and HoneyDawn McElyea, her stepchildren, Rodney Carroll, Rick Carroll, Morris (Gidget) Carroll, Mike (Gina) Carroll, Bonnie Jean and 17 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her two brothers: Douglas and Robert Cooper, two grandsons, a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law.
Mom, you are loved by so many and will be missed every day. Heaven has gained an amazing Angel.
