Rayola Harris, 69, passed on January 25, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the matriarch of her family and considered to be their precious wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Rayola was born on June 4, 1948, in Provo Utah, to Oren Dale Harding (father) and Essie Arlene Radmall (mother). She was the 5th of 7 kids, survived by Stan and Janet and preceded in death by her father, mother, Arlene, Val, Karl, and Douglas.
On May 18, 1974, she found the love of her life and married Bruce Gail Harris. Together they were blessed to raised five boys: Kevin (wife Jill), Lonnie (wife Cathy), Trevor, Nathan (wife Crystal) and Josh (wife Misty). She was the loving Grandmother of Natalie (husband Clay), Colby (wife Amber), Jessica (husband Colby), Brandon (wife Heather) Connor, Dalton, Kaylee Ray, Sage, Curtis, Trevin, Reese, Harley, Aden, Alec, and Aubrey. She was the Great Grandmother to Paisley, Paxton, Payton, Owen, Starlee, Kali, Jackson, and Thea.
For Mom, life began and ended with her family. She loved nothing more than spending time camping, fishing, playing family games and recently learned to love the game of pickleball. She loved expressing her love in making and giving things to her family and friends: crocheting, knitting, tole painting, you name it, she did it! She loved daily long walks with her true love, Bruce.
Throughout her life, she worked hard to ensure her family had what was needed. For the past 15 years, she worked as an Officer Manager for Commercial Refrigeration. Unfortunately, life can throw you a curve ball, as it did to all of us on December 27, 2018, when she was diagnosed with an aggressive-incurable cancer. She fought hard to ensure she spent every available moment with her family. Right to the end her family stood by her side. Her boys meant the world to her; we can’t imagine life without her. She will be missed and remembered as the rock in our family. We will cherish the love and memories until we meet again. We love you Mom!
