Marcia Paul Gray was born on January 16, 1955, to George R. Paul and Ruth Mills Paul. The youngest of four children, she brought joy, humor, and warmth into the lives of all who knew her. Marcia passed away peacefully in the evening hours of December 28, 2025.
Marcia grew up in Pleasant Grove and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. She married her sweetheart, Jerry Blaine Gray, on November 2, 1973. Their marriage was later sealed in the Provo Temple on January 14, 1988. Together, they were blessed with four children, to whom Marcia devoted her life and her heart. Because of her strong testimony of Jesus Christ and His Atonement, her family finds comfort and peace in knowing they will be reunited with her again.
Family was at the center of Marcia’s world. She delighted in babies, cherished time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild, and found her greatest happiness in family gatherings. She loved camping and the outdoors, was an expert shot, and had a special talent for crafting, decorating, and planning memorable parties. A lover of shopping and all things fun, Marcia was especially known for her quick wit and unforgettable—sometimes inappropriate—jokes that kept everyone laughing.
Her creativity shone through her love of dolls and décor, and her generous spirit was evident in the way she served and cared for others. Marcia had a gift for making people feel welcome and loved, and her presence filled every room with laughter and light.
Marcia is survived by her loving husband, Jerry Blaine Gray; her children: Amy (Steve) Cobbley, Stephen (Cody) Gray, Kelly (Ryan) Houston, and Clint (Julie) Gray; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by extended family, dear friends, and her beloved fur baby, Jar-Jar.
Marcia loved with all of her strength, and in doing so, she wore her heart out. Her legacy of love, faith, humor, and devotion to family will be cherished and carried forward by all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
