Anaise Leihulu Tonata, 82, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones. Anaise was born in Toula Vava'u on May 19, 1938 to Vika and Sinamoni Kaitaeifo. Anaise was the 2nd youngest out of 13 siblings, from oldest to youngest, Eneasi Kaita'eifo, Ika Kaita'eifo, Tevita Kaihea Kaita'eifo, Ane Kaita'eifo, Melenaite Teu ki Fai'ana Fukofuka, Po'alo'I Fenunuti, Tevita Mahe, Latule'o Makasini, Sisilia Kalonikakala Kaita'eifo, Kalotia Hafoka, Onika Kaita'eifo, Anaise Leihulu Tonata, Lu'isa Taumoefolau, Fotu Toluta'u and Atunaisa Havea Katoa.
Anaise married the love of her life Sui Fololiano Tonata in May of 1967.Over the years they had 4 beautiful children, Etuatina Havili, Seini Vatuvei, Walter Tonata and Maui Tuakiapimahu.
May 23, 2009 Anaise was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was later Endowed on June 1, 2010. She was then sealed to her eternal companion Sui Fololiano Tonata on May 31, 2014 both in the Provo Temple.
Anaise led a life of faith and pure love of Christ. She loved family gatherings and would tell all of children to meet often and pray. Anaise was God Fearing in everything she did. Anaise greatly impacted the lives of those around her.
She is survived by her children: Etuatina and Soane Havili, Seini and Tanu Vatuvei, Walter and Tisina Tonata, and Maui and Anne Tuakiapimahu
