Darren Richard Noble

May 20, 1982 ~ September 4, 2022 (age 40)

Darren Richard Noble, our beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, passed away peacefully in his sleep Sunday, September 4, 2022. He was 40 years old.

He was born May 20, 1982, in American Fork, UT to Richard Max and Linda Secrist Noble.  He grew up in Orem, graduating from Timpanogos High School in 2000. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a missionary in the Boise Idaho mission.

Darren attended Snow College and UVU where he majored in computer science.  He began his software engineering career at Novell and worked at Omniture and Adobe before working at Vivint. He loved all things computer and was brilliant at what he did, having received patents and recognitions for his work.

Darren met the love of his life, Marianne Isabelle Kemp, and they were married July 18, 2009 in the  Mt Timpanogos Temple. They were best friends and companions. They were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Zoey Isabelle.  She was the light of his life.

Everybody loved Darren! He was kind, funny, smart, and genuine. He loved to use his knowledge of computers and programming to help people. His quick wit and sense of humor made him fun to be around. His photography skills were amazing! He loved gadgets and games, cars and computers, Star Trek and space, and most especially, his family.

The last few years of Darren’s life were filled with illness and pain.  He battled a rare auto-immune disease that was debilitating. His good nature and humorous wit helped him face his challenges with courage, grace and a positive attitude. His love for his wife and daughter and his faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ, kept him going until he was taken home.

Darren is survived by his loving wife Marianne and daughter Zoey; parents Richard and Linda; brother Andrew (Lindsay); sister Julia; grandmother Kaye Noble; mother-in-law Bonnie; father-in-law Charles Kemp; (Jan); sister-in-law Julene Cooney (Tom); sister-in-law Kara Cook (Brigham); brother-in-law David Kemp (Vanessa), sister-in-law Christina Munyan (Matt), many nieces, nephews, and lots of extended family.
