Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend Erma Lois Larson Jorgensen, 94, of Pleasant Grove passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2020 with her loved ones by her side. Lois was born April 25, 1926 in Lehi, Utah to Neil Stephen and Erma Fox Larson. Lois grew up with her two brothers and three sisters in Lehi, Utah. She had so many fond memories with her siblings growing up. They loved to spend time in their old canoe on their grandfather's pond and in the winter they would ice skate. It seemed like every kid in Lehi had learned how to ice skate on that pond. Lois had worked at Geneva Steel in the Rolling Mill offices and also worked at the Lehi Telephone office. While she was working at Geneva Steel she met the love of her life, Glen Alexander Jorgensen, and married on November 17, 1948 in Lehi. Later their marriage was solemnized in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. They rented their first apartment in Pleasant Grove where they had their two oldest boys Larry and David. Five years later they built their first and only home where they had their youngest son Ronnie. After the kids got older she worked at the County Clerk's Office in Provo. Lois faithfully served in various callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She went on many trips which included going to the Holy Land, Egypt and also traveled to Nauvoo to see all the sites of Joseph Smith. She also went on many vacations with their children which included going to the National Parks. She adored her three boys and they were all so good to her. Lois is survived by her two sons: Larry Glen Jorgensen, American Fork; Ronald L. (Toni) Jorgensen, American Fork; daughter-in-law, Kerri Ince Jorgensen, Pleasant Grove; 9 grandchildren; Angie (Greg) Worthington, Jason (Christine) Jorgensen, Amy Anderson, Jesse (Emily) Jorgensen, Mary (Matt) King, Ashlee (Chad) Olson, Zach Jorgensen, Tori Broughton, and Fallen (Tovey) Hammond; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings; Pat Gray, Glenda (Roy) Carter, Ruth Ann Larson, and sister in law Arlene Jorgensen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Jorgensen, her son David Kay Jorgensen, her parents, Neil and Erma Larson, her siblings Rex (Evelyn and Lorna) Larson, Norma (Paul) Mecham, Von Larson, Jim Gray, and many other cherished loved ones.
