Harold Jeffrey Blum, 54, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 in Pleasant Grove Utah. He was born December 14, 1965 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harold and Renon Blum.
Jeff grew up in Salt Lake City, Denver Colorado and Portland Oregon where he attended Sunset High School and established a reputation as a loyal and fun-loving friend to many and developed life-long friendships. Jeff served a mission in Bristol England for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Jeff attended Brigham Young University and Utah State University where he earned a bachelor degree in Business Administration. He spent most of his career in management in the Human Resources field.
Jeff was a dedicated father with unmatched love for his children and has always been a “favorite uncle” to his many nieces and nephews whom he always treated as his own. Jeff loved to spend time throughout his life playing ice hockey, shooting guns, snow skiing, listening to music, scuba diving and driving fast cars. Jeff was known as the go-to man in the family for any construction and electronic job. He loved to use new technology and share his skills with the family. He could fix anything.
Jeff had amazing character and will be remembered for his soft heart and unmatched love and desire to protect his family. Above all, those who know him will miss his generous nature. An ambitious prankster, Jeff is well known among friends and family as one who can bring a smile and mild shake of the head to any occasion.
Jeff is survived by his children Hannah Blum, Hudson Blum and Halee Blum, parents Harold and Renon Blum, sisters Tamara (Clark) Jones and Nicole (Lance) Sallenback and brother Brian (Laura) Blum, one granddaughter as well as his many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and several cousins.
