Harry William Davis passed away peacefully on May 20, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.  He'd spent seven years battling kidney disease and multiple myeloma cancer.  He maintained a positive outlook and optimistic demeanor throughout these last years.  He was always in the company of his beloved wife Vicki, who did much to make his life as pleasant as possible.

Harry was born in Hot Springs, South Dakota on April 21, 1944 to Vernon and Donna Davis and is the oldest of their four children.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Angela Rose.  He is survived by his wife Vicki, his three siblings (Susan, Steve, and Laura), his eight children (Diana, Michael, Lisa, Lori, John, Brian, Joseph, Jeffrey), twenty-two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Harry attended high school in Moab, Utah where he participated in football and track and graduated as valedictorian.  He earned a BA in Mathematics and an MBA from the University of Utah.  Harry joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during graduate school.

Harry and Vicki married in 1969 at the Mesa, Arizona temple.  Soon their family began to grow and Harry began his career as an executive in the credit union industry.  His career took them from New Mexico to Delaware, Colorado, California, and finally Utah.

Harry was always actively involved in church service and served as a bishop twice.  Following retirement in 2009, Harry and Vicki fulfilled their goal to serve a mission.  They were called to Durban, South Africa and had a wonderful experience there.

Trout fishing was Harry's favorite hobby throughout his life and he always enjoyed sharing stories of his fishing trips.  A few years into his treatment of multiple myeloma, Harry developed an interest in cooking and trying out new recipes.  Cooking became a way to serve his wife because she was doing so much for him.

Harry was a kind, generous, dedicated, hard-working man.  He led by example and was a person of integrity.  He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
