It is with great sadness we note the passing of Jeremiah Buxton Miles. He passed away peacefully after complications of a lingering illness in his home on March 5th, 2020 at age 31. Jeremiah was born to David and Cindy Miles on October 21, 1988. He had Down Syndrome and was a kind and loving soul with a great sense of humor. He had a big smile and made everyone around him laugh. Family was most important to him, followed closely by watching Disney movies and drinking Pepsi. He also loved spaghetti and Saturday trips to Walmart with Dad.
Jeremiah is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He attended many schools and developed great friendships at Dan Peterson, ATEC, and TURN. He had wonderful teachers and respite care providers, especially his siblings, who loved caring for him.
We always wish for more time in this frail existence, but how grateful we are that a kind Heavenly Father makes those decisions for us. Thank heaven for the gospel and its doctrines in the plan of salvation.
Jeremiah is survived by his parents, David and Cindy Miles of Pleasant Grove, Utah; his siblings Colton (Chaylyn), MeKell (Zach), MeKenna, and MeKenzey; his niece Kelsey and nephews Miles, Andy, and Stockton; his grandma, Marilyn Miles; and many loving uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Gary Miles; and his grandparents Jay Farrell & Jeanne Buxton.
