Leon Joseph White, known as Lumpy returned to his Heavenly Father unexpectedly on Monday September 6th 2021 at the age of 71. He is now with his daughter Tannika and his grandson Quintien. Lumpy is survived by his wife Eileen and his 8 children Patty, Jeff, Trayne, Teesha, Trent, Taylor, Wataru, Tori, and 25 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren! Lumpy is the 4th of 8 children of Roy and Arvina White born May 15th 1950 at a WHOPPING 11lbs!! Lumpy was raised and attended schools in American Fork Utah.
Lumpy is well know for his business that he owned in American Fork Lumpys Car Care. Eileen met Lumpy at Floyd's car wash in American Fork. When she seen his Fancy 63 Corvette she had to have a ride! They went on a joy ride and shared some fries!! They married January 26th 1979, they were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple January 15th 1983. Lumpy was a 6 foot 7 inch GIANT Teddy Bear that had a Love for his Grandkids!! When he wasn't enjoying time with his grandkids and family he was enjoying the time with his second love restoring his Classic Cars! Lumpy was a mechanic by trade and a Farmer by HEART!! Lumpy has touched the HEARTS of many and will be so missed by the WORLD!! We Love and Miss you already Fred, Daddy, Grandpa, and Papa!!!
Lumpy was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held many different callings which included several different presidency.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:00 am in the Indianola LDS Chapel, 8060 East 38500 North, Fairview, Utah. Family and friends may attend a viewing for Lumpy Friday evening from 6-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah and at the church in Indianola from 9:30-10:45am. Interment will be in the Timpanogos Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
