Linda Gray Holdaway Ballard, 80, of Pleasant Grove passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Linda was born November 24, 1940 in Provo, Utah to Eva Allen and Howard William Gray.
Linda grew up in Lehi with three younger brothers; Allen, Gary, and Randy. She attended Lehi High School and graduated with the class of 1959. She married Klin Morvel Holdaway in the Salt Lake Temple on March 4, 1959. They had four children; Brad, Delayne, Shaun, and Mindy.
She spent most of her life being a loving, devoted mother and housewife. After the death of her husband Klin in 1977, she worked in the bookkeeping and banking industry. She met, and married Erald Langston Ballard on December 8, 1978. He later died in 2006.
Linda loved camping, cooking, sewing, painting ceramics, planting flowers and working in her yard. She cherished spending time with family. Family reunions and parties were her favorite. Linda served faithfully in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in many callings over the years including Nursery, Primary, Cub Scouts, and Relief Society.
She is survived by her children: Brad (SuAnn) Holdaway; Delayne (Lane) Gray; Shaun Holdaway; and Mindy Holdaway. Brother Gary (Linda) Gray; and two half-brothers: Tom (Christine) Halladay; and Kris (Stacey) Halladay. She has 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two sisters-in-law, Shirley Gray and Barbara Gray. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands and two brothers: Allen Gray and Randy Gray.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Timpanogos Sixth Ward Chapel, 332 E. 500 N. in Pleasant Grove. Family and friends may attend a viewing from 9:00 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Hills in Provo.
