Margaret Ann McClung Stone, 84, of Saratoga Springs passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020. Margaret was born March 21, 1936 in Los Angeles, California to Edward James and Irene Elizabeth Seagrave McClung. She married Robert James Stone on June 8, 1956 in the Los Angeles Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Robert passed away in 1998.
Margaret grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from Washington High School. She attended Pepperdine College and received an Associates Degree. She was devoted member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings during her life. Margaret was selfless and always looked for opportunities to serve others. Margaret made countless numbers of baby blankets, booties, bonnets, and other items to support humanitarian efforts. She would give her last dime to anyone in need. She practiced healing arts and helped others find relief from their pain through reflexology. Margaret was a mother of five children and two additional foster children who loved and adored her.
Margaret is survived by her four children: Scott (Laurie) Stone, Saratoga Springs, UT; Kelly (James, dec.) Brereton, Saratoga Springs, UT; Robert James Stone Jr., Orem, UT and Jennifer Stone, Orem, UT; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and her brother, James (Shirley) McClung, Florissant, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Kathleen Ann Stone Sheldon.
