Our Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin, and friend, Marilyn Bullock Grob, age 72 passed away peacefully in the early morning on January 21, 2021 when her physical body was overcome by cancer and returned to her Heavenly Father.
Marilyn was born in Hawthorne, CA on November 7, 1948. She was extremely proud of her California roots. Shortly after she was married, she and her family moved to Utah. In 1975 she purchased her lifetime home in Pleasant Grove.
Marilyn was a faithful and unwavering member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in many callings within the church. She loved music and was the Chorister for all organizations. Her most recent calling was Relief Society President. She absolutely loved all her callings, especially in Primary with the children and youth. She also served in the Mount Timpanogos Temple as a temple worker before and after her full-time mission to Renton, Washington.
Marilyn was an amazing mother to 6 children, grandmother to 21 grandchildren and great grandmother to 7 great grandchildren. Family was her life and she spent every moment she could with her loved ones. Marilyn was extremely proud of each and every one in her family.
Marilyn loved her parents and really enjoyed flying with her father in his private airplane. She loved to travel and looked forward to her sister’s trip. She adored her siblings and their families.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, William Woodrow “Woody” Bullock and Eleanor Scoville Bullock, and her daughter Jennifer Grob. Marilyn is survived by her children Melissa (Gino) Elardi, Emily (Garrett) Trumble, Eric (Ann) Grob, Brian (Cassie) Grob, Darrell (Maki) Grob; her siblings Paul (Evah) Bullock, Dean (Debbie) Bullock, Carl (Mary) Bullock, Diane (John) Boland, Marcia Dishong, LuJean (Robert) Levy, Elouise (Craig) Armstrong, Blair Bullock; grandchildren Wesley, Audrey, Cecilia, Michael, Brielle, Cody, Ryker, Zackary, Brittany, Courtney, Melanie, Anthony, Davie, Kerby, Madeline, Taylor, Austin, Jaden, Abby, Piper, Kota and 7 great grandchildren.
Family and friends may attend a viewing Monday evening, January 25, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. Please follow all Covid-19 social and physical distancing guidelines and please wear a mask. A viewing will be held for the immediate family on Tuesday from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral services at 11:00 am at the Timpanogos Stake Center, 800 North 100 West, Pleasant Grove, Utah. A zoom link is provided above for those who wish to watch the funeral services from their home. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
