Mitchell (Kree) Anderson (39), our wonderful and beloved son, brother, and daddy to three beautiful children, Ethan (12), Leah (7), and Alexa (5), passed away June 29 2021, due to the effects of addiction. It is such a tremendous loss for us, but a wonderful treasure for Heaven.
Kree was in the middle of coaching the Red Sox baseball team of Pleasant Grove, along with his lifelong friend and assistant coach John Strong and his brother Brad Strong. He had such enthusiasm and love for life, he charmed people with his quick wit and sense of humor. His charisma, genuine love, and friendship for people was magnificent. Coaching the Red Sox and becoming acquainted with the team and their parents had been the highlight of his summer.
Kree loved sports since he was a child and gave up violin lessons to play. His passion was basketball, baseball, football, swimming, snowboarding, fishing, refinishing furniture and bringing back the luster to wood. He spent endless hours teaching his son Ethan, the famous baseball terms such as, fastball, curveball, knuckleball and sinker. If you put a fishing pole in his hand, he would catch the most succulent fish and cook them to perfection, with a crispy tail!
He loved sharing his talents with his daughter's Leah and Alexa, who had recently been helping their daddy nurture their new garden of tomatoes. Teaching them to make scrumptious pancakes, scrambled eggs, and decadent chocolate chip cookies. His pure enjoyment of his children was very enlightening to all of us. We wish he could have stayed longer on earth, the laughter and tears through the years have been worth every second!
Kree graduated from Pleasant Grove High and later served an LDS Mission to the Tagoloan Philippines, he enjoyed helping people rebuild their huts after the monsoon rain storms, among many other acts of service.,
Once married to Kimberly Pearson, they had three children (Ethan, Leah, Lexi), who’ve been their pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. He is survived by them, his mother Debbie Anderson (Gary Stam), sister Kandus Linde (Tom Lewis), brother Kurt Anderson, nephew Milo Osterman, Lindsey Hardy (Court Hardy), Ryan Stam, Chase Stam, Lee Stam, a lake of cousins, a river of aunts and uncles, an ocean of friends, and Melinda Durrant, his dearest friend. Kree is preceded in death by his father Mitchell Mack Anderson and his brother Kyle Bentley Anderson.
Kree was employed by Brüder Inc Saratoga Springs, where he loved excavation digging in the earth and working with an incredible crew. Prior to this he was employed by Fugal's Pleasant Grove, and equally spectacular company to be a part of.
