This amazing man, our Father Morley B. Keetch, quietly slipped away on Sunday June 6, 2021 at his home in Lindon, Utah at age 99½ surrounded by his family.
He was born December 31, 1921 in Lindon in the family home. He grew up farming with his parents and siblings. He attended local schools through High School in Pleasant Grove, where he played football and basketball.
He met his sweetheart at the Apollo Hall in American Fork, Utah. He married Nola Gray on March 20, 1943, and their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. They built their home in Lindon where they raised their six children. Morley worked at Geneva Steel until his retirement at age 62. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints during his lifetime, holding many positions, including Bishop of the Ward.
Morley and Nola served as full time missionaries in the England Coventry Mission. Morley was known for his various farming skills, including gardening. He spent several years as a Temple Ordinance Worker in the Mount Timpanogos and Provo Temples. He is survived by his six children, Richard (Karen) Keetch of West Jordan, Maurice (Roslyn) Keetch of Draper, Alan Keetch of Provo, Carol (Cal) Jones of Orem, Marlene (Vince) Nelson of Lindon, and Nadine (Terry) Larsen of Lindon, 30 Grandchildren, 77 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 11:00am in the Lindon Third Ward Chapel, 320 West 500 North Lindon, UT where family and friends may attend a viewing from 9:00 - 10:45am prior to funeral services. Interment will be in the Lindon City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
