Patricia (Pat) Nielson passed away in her home on Thursday, December 30, 2021. The family wishes to express appreciation to Envision Hospice for helping her transition to heaven as peaceful as possible.

Pat was born Patricia Deon Allen in Pioche, Nevada to Harold and Thelma Allen on August 5, 1944. She was the second oldest daughter out of 3 daughters and 1 son. Pat graduated from Milford High School in 1962 where she also graduated from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints Seminary.

After high school, she married Larry Walker on September 22, 1962. They lived in Beaver, Utah. They were later divorced. Pat eventually moved from Beaver to Orem, Utah. She later met and married Weldon Marrott on March 15, 1977. She was never able to have children of her own but she became an instant mother as Weldon had 9 children and 29 grandchildren. After they married, they lived in Pleasant Grove, Utah where they enjoyed a good life together until Weldon passed away in their home. Pat was fortunate enough to meet Lane Nielson who was a widower with 4 children. They were married September 13, 1991 and moved to Provo, Utah. They were sealed in the Provo Temple on June 16, 2001. Unfortunately, Lane passed away as well. Pat continued to live in Provo until her death. She worked at Macy's grocery store until her retirement. Pat also worked many years throughout her life as a waitress and other various jobs. She never had a job where she sat, she was always on her feet.

Pat was a long active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she held many callings until she became ill and wasn't able to attend church anymore. Pat was a very loving and giving person. She loved all of her family very much and would do anything for them. She loved her children and grandchildren and was happy that she had the blessing of becoming a part of their lives because of Weldon and Lane. She loved camping, sewing, baking, and bottling fruit. She especially loved making candy suckers. Pat also had a great love for animals. She loved her dog Tiki, who was given to her when Lane passed away. Tiki was a big part of her life until she had to be put down due to an illness. Pat loved collecting Angel and Penguin Figurines and Bells.

Pat put her trust in the Lord and was willing to submit to all that was inflicted upon her. She fought a good fight and hung on until she was ready to go which was always her way throughout her life, all while keeping the faith.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; Lane Nielson, Weldon Marrott and Larry Walker, Father (Harold Allen, Mother (Thelma Allen), and Sister (Linda Allen). She is survived by Sister; LuAnn Brito, Brother; James (Nancy)Allen, Nieces; Janet Hancock, Monica Marchang, Maddison Brito, and Amara Marchang, Nephews; Steve Allen, Dominic Brito, Jason Brito, Anthony Brito, Kyren Marchang, and Skylar Marchang.
