Peggy was born November 1, 1951 to Ernest Nelson Turner and Melba N Ackerman Turner. Peggy is the 8th child out of 10 children. Peggy passed away on Friday November 1, 2019 around 2 pm. Peggy was not alone when she passed away family was by her side.
Peggy was a very strong-willed individual who beat breast cancer. Was never afraid of telling you your wrong on how to do something. She loved t-shirt with funny sayings on them. She had a very strong love for animals 2 that had passed away. And 2 that she looked forward to see every chance she got. She was loved by all animals she came in contact with. Peggy attended Pleasant Grove High School. Peggy had a lot of friends. any where she went she knew at least 3 out of 5 of them from somewhere. She loved watching many different kinds of TV shows and movies. Her favorite time of years was Summer so she could sit outside enjoying the earlier morning air sipping on her coffee. While having long conversations with anyone that was there with her. She loved Scooby Doo and Coca cola bears. Peggy had a very large collection of different coca cola glasses and figures. Peggy was a very caring loving person who was always there for you no matter what. She was always willing to help out with anything she could. Peggy will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her Son- Michael Marrott; Daughter in law- Carmen Gomez Marrott; Grandson- Brandon Gomez; Step Grandsons: Samuel Gomez, Sebastian Sayer, Jacob Sayer and Jared Sayer; silbings: Myrna Turner Hess, Betty Rae Turner Lindstrom, Vonda Turner Druce, Nila Turner Phelps and Gordon Ernest Turner.
Peggy was preceded in death by her son,Tracy Marrott who passed away Jan 24 2019; siblings: Mildred Elaine Turner – passed away Dec 1936; Artimisha Velene Turner – Passed away June 2008; Deven Nelson Turner – Passed away Feb 1942 and Janette Turner- Passed away Feb 1947.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 8, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. Family and friends may attend a viewing Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at the mortuary and again on Friday one hour prior to funeral services. Interment will be in the Lyman City Cemetery at 3:00 pm on Friday. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
