Quinn Eldon Butler, 41, returned home to his Heavenly Father on February 16, 2022. He was working in Denver, CO at the time of his death. Quinn was born July 13, 1980 in Monticello, UT to Randy and Laura Butler.

Quinn grew up in Monticello where he loved to explore and play on the mountain and surrounding areas. He enjoyed his experiences and adventures with his seven siblings.

Quinn loved dirt-biking, snowmobiling, camping, building amazing projects with his woodworking skills, growing a garden, doing yard work, tinkering, adjusting and fixing endless things around the house, serving anyone who was in need of help, and teaching his children the importance of hard work. He was a handy man and could usually fix just about anything that was asked of him.

Quinn was a busy body and anyone who really knew him knows he was the master of starting a new project, but finishing that project before moving on to the next one, bless his heart, that was another story. It was more important and exciting to him to begin a new project before completing the previous one. Something his wife learned very early on to just be patient with and know it's what made him happy.

He excelled in the Scouting program where he earned his Eagle Scout award and later went on to serve as a youth leader for several years.

He achieved much success in wrestling and cross-country while also playing the Saxophone in the Monticello High School Jazz band.

After graduating from Monticello High School, he attended UVU in Orem, UT. before serving a mission in Knoxville, Tennessee for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has great success on his mission and loved the people he taught. After returning home from his mission he continued his education at UVU for a short time before deciding to become a realtor. He was an excellent real estate agent and continued doing it on the side while maintaining his main job of being an underground miner. Quinn started mining in 2011 and quickly became a favorite to everyone he came in contact with. He worked hard, studied and became familiar with many different kinds of rigs and excelled at the jobs he was placed in charge of. Quinn loved working in the mine learning many incredible skills as well as meeting some amazing friends who made the long hours away from home each day fun.

Quinn was adventurous, funny, an epic practical joker, and an avid story teller. He always gave thoughtful gifts from the heart and was passionate about life and those he shared it with. He was an animated and fun-loving father who was proud of his children and loved watching them grow. His wife and children will miss him dearly.

Quinn is survived by his wife and sweetheart Leesa, his 6 children Ashton, Jackson, Izzy, Kinlee, Londyn, and Weston, as well as 2 step children Wade and Mattie Tracy, his parents Randy and Laura Butler, siblings Shannon Young, Shane (Michelle) Butler, Nate (Brooke) Butler, Andy (Tori) Butler, Chad (Jacquelyn) Butler, Adam Butler, Grandma Marva Butler, Grandpa Stan (Diane) Augustine, 11 Nieces, 9 Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.

Quinn was preceded in death by his brother Aaron Butler, paternal Grandpa, Ronald (Pat) Butler, maternal Grandma, Anne Augustine and his uncle, Troy Butler.

Quinn was a people-person; he loved people. He had a quick wit and a big heart and those who knew him, loved him. He will be greatly missed.
