Randy K. Adams, 67 of American Fork Utah passed away January 1, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 5, 1955 to Charles Adams and Shirley Adams. He was the oldest of 4 children. Randy was raised in Pleasant Grove, Utah.
He went to Central Elementary, Grove Crest Elementary, Valley Elementary, Pleasant Grove Jr. High, and Pleasant Grove High. He went to Technical College and did work study his junior year. He loved working on cars growing up, and he would hike Mount Timpanogos with his buddies to earn their pins and loved to slide down the glacier.
Randy worked several jobs repairing equipment, starting in his teens through adulthood. He worked for and traveled with City of Fun Carnival, Daves Auto Repair,and drove over the road for Coford trucking, then onto his own Heavy Equipment Auto/Diesel repair shop Adams Truck & Auto in Lindon Utah.
He married Rachel Edwards on September 29, 1978 and had 3 beautiful daughters: Randy, Candy, and Samantha. They were later divorced.
Randy was always a hard worker and was busy working on automobiles, heavy equipment, forklifts and semi’s for D&L Supply for many years until he got sick with bladder cancer in 2004. He always had a project he was tinkering with. He loved having his grandchildren over to ride the golf cart and help him mow the pasture and work on whatever project he had at that time. He enjoyed the Fairview Derby every 24th of July. He always had a little goodie or a treat for whoever stopped by. He enjoyed lunches at the senior center and Bingo every week.
He is survived by his 3 daughters: Randy Barcenas, Candy (Corey) Grange and Samantha (Benjamin) Jensen. 14 Grandchildren and his step mother, siblings, nieces and nephews. Randy is preceded in death by his father Charles and his Mother Shirley.
