Steven Walt LeCheminant, age 42, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2022 in the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah. He was born in Corvallis, Oregon on August 22, 1979 to his loving parents Floyd and Jolene LeCheminant. Soon after, they moved to Idaho and then on to Orem, Utah and finally to Pleasant Grove, Utah. In 1999 he married Mikelle Wickham in the Mount Timpanogos Temple, and later they welcomed their son, James Steven.

Steve was and is loved by many friends and family. Steve loved boating, camping, bow hunting, riding ATVs and dirt bikes, and spending time outdoors. He loved any activity that allowed him to spend time with his family, and he spent his life loving and caring for them. He loved playing basketball, and coached countless baseball, football and basketball teams for his son, James. He was a talented salesman and entrepreneur, owning two businesses and having countless additional ideas for potential businesses in the future.  He was a jack of all trades who could fix just about anything – from computers and cars to HVAC/plumbing and everything in between. And if he didn’t know how to fix it, he would figure it out. With his many skills Steve was able to serve anyone who was in need of help, whether he knew them or not. He was and is a great example of hard work and service. Steve put up a valiant fight and is a faithful soul. His legacy will go on for many years.

Steve is survived by his wife, Mikelle and their son James (16) of American Fork, Utah. He will also be missed by family, including his parents Floyd and Jolene LeCheminant of Pleasant Grove, Utah and his siblings Leslie Cook (Dallas), Todd LeCheminant (Jennie), Cassandra Kagie (Nick), Matt LeCheminant (Nakesha), his grandparents Walt and Sharon Rager, and his many nieces and nephews. Steve was preceded in death by his sister Lisa LeCheminant, his brother Jack LeCheminant, and his paternal grandparents Jack and Dawna LeCheminant.
