Thomas Alex Duvall, 72, of Orem, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022, at his home after a long, valiant struggle with Parkinson's disease. He was born August 17, 1950, in American Fork to Lowell Wesley and Bobbie Jean Nielson Duvall. He married Maria Elaine Whaley and together had five children. They were later divorced. He married Lorna Larson on June 3, 1995, in Orem, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized June 3, 1998, in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple.
Tom grew up Pleasant Grove and attended Pleasant Grove High School where he excelled in track and football. Tom worked for many years at Pacific State's Cast Iron Pipe Company as a Locomotive and Crane Operator.
He enjoyed attending plays and faithfully attended shows at Tuacahn in St. George. He loved watching sports, especially attending the events of his grandchildren.
Tom was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and especially loved working in the Mt. Timpanogos and Provo Temples.
He is survived by his wife Lorna; five children: Shane (Jacqueline) Duvall, Lehi; Paul (Andrea) Duvall, Lehi; Jeff (Brandi) Duvall, Springville; Nate (Linsey) Duvall, Spanish Fork and Jenny (Waylon) Swenson, Springville; step-children: Bob (Rachelle) Booth, Lehi and Brad (Ashley) Booth, Memphis, Tennessee; 24 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; siblings: Pat (Ray) Williams, Wesley (Janet) Duvall, Kevin (Rosalie) Duvall and Saralyn (Marcus) Freeman. He was preceded in death by his parents and twin brothers, Jean and Jerry.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 11:00 am in the Orem Windsor Third Ward Chapel, 1405 North Main Street, Orem, Utah where family and friends may attend a viewing from 9:00-10:45 am prior to services.
