Tim L Christiansen,64, passed quietly at home with his wife and two daughters by his side at his home in Orem, Utah on Wednesday, July 29, 2020.
Tim was born December 1, 1955 in Salt Lake City to J. Arno and MonaLee Christiansen. He was a proud member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Tim attended school in Provo, Ut.
He became a sub-contractor making people's homes beautiful on the outside. He especially loved to show people the homes he covered through the years. He was so proud to have people see his copper works. Tim loved anything outdoors, fishing, hunting, and wild rides through the woods and desert. He was an awesome barbecued. The food was declared done when it was black. He loved football. Some people thought He was a fair-weather fan. But really, he was a Andy Reid fan.
Tim married his high school sweetheart shortly after graduation. Together they had four beautiful daughters. Later they divorced but remained devoted parents and good friends.
He later married his Eternal Companion Lisa and took her and her 7 children into his heart. Tim was a devoted father, grandfather first. A sweet husband second. A loyal brother, uncle, cousin, and nephew.
Tim is survived by his wife Lisa and their 11 children. Plus 44 grandchildren and 2great- grandchildren. Tons of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents J Arno and MonaLee Christiansen. His grandparents Loren & Manilla Christiansen, Fredric & Leola Jackson. And his nephew Timothy Taylor. Plus various relatives.
Tim will be greatly missed. But we know we will be together again one day.
Family and friends may attend an evening viewing Monday, August 3, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing are required.
Private family funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in the Orem Cherry Hills Seventh Ward LDS Chapel. The public is invited to attend the interment at 1:00 p.m. in the Larkin Sunset Garden Cemetery, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
